Root to Rise Women's Circle - 8/16 in Raleigh

from $0.00

Throughout history women have supported each other in navigating the tides of life.

They have shared stories, guidance, and wisdom which helped women feel less alone in life’s challenges and transitions.

Women of all stages in life were embraced for their contributions to communal wellbeing.

In today’s world it is hard to find a community of women in real life that feels nourishing, meaningful, and sacred. Sadly, gatherings of women are often places of shame, judgment, comparison, shallow conversation, and inauthenticity.

Maybe you’ve gone to book clubs, art classes, or wine nights…but you never leave with what you crave. You never leave with a sense of support, community, and being seen in your fullness and multitudes.

Join us for our first monthly Root to Rise women’s circle if you too crave this connection.

This will be a safe, sacred, and open space where we will journal, reflect, and share in our experiences.

Each month the topic will be different to explore many facets of womanhood, humanity, wellness, and real world experience. Our first topic will be exploring the maiden, mother, crone archetype and how she lives within each of us.

You are invited to show up as you are, to receive support, to listen, to share, and to hold other women up.

When we root into ourselves, into mother earth, and into a circle of women, we can each rise and in turn raise up our community.

Our first monthly circle will be in Raleigh at Fallon Park on Saturday August 16th 10:00am - 11:30am

Address: 2601 Oxford Road, Raleigh, NC 27608

You can read more about Nicole in her bio on this website. She loves merging witchcraft and earth based wisdom with personal growth and healing. She has a passion for supporting women in rebelling against the hustle culture and embracing life’s magic and vitality so they can live the life they dream of. She has a background in nursing for over 11 years and works in behavioral health currently. She is studying to become a clinical herbalist. She hosts wheel of the year gatherings in Raleigh, virtual and in person workshops, and has a small group to integrate cyclic living and witchy practices.

Kathleen shares more on her website:  magentaheartmassage.com about her background as a bodyworker and energy practitioner (Reiki, chakra work).  She has been involved in womens’ circles for nearly four decades, having  led  and participated in menstrual tents, moon circles, sound healing drumming circles, since she was in her 20’s.  Recently, she has been diving into the history of her ancestral roots, both Celtic and Italian, and how the goddess is woven into the sacred places in Europe that call to her.  She honors and believes that in a circle of women, “there is a leader and a healer in every chair.”
