10/11- Samhain Women's Circle and Celebration
This post is for the Samhain circle on Saturday Oct 11th at 11am-1:30pm. Location is Fallon Park in Raleigh NC.
This circle will be a combination of a wheel of the year gathering for Samhain/Hallow’s Eve and our monthly Root to Rise Women’s Circle.
During the circle we will share a bit about the history and folklore of Samhain.
We will then explore themes related to Samhain such as ancestors, thinning of the veil, witch wound, and death/rebirth through discussion, journaling, reflection, and optional sharing.
An ancestor table will be set up if you’d like to bring a photo or an item to honor any loved ones you’ve lost.
We will then celebrate potluck style with snacks to build community and honor the turning of the wheel! A seasonal beverage will be provided.
We will also have some optional seasonal activities during the celebration: Small pumpkin decorating table for both mundane and magical intentions. Tarot and Oracle cards laid out for you to choose a card and receive a message.
