August 15th Witchy Well Women's Gathering in Raleigh

$35.00

This will be our FIRST outdoor nature experience for the Witchy Well Women’s Community! You can read more about the community here

We will gather on Saturday August 15th 10am-11:30am at Fallon Park in Raleigh for our first experience!

I recommend the address: 2400 Oxford Road, Raleigh NC 27608 for easy parking beside the park on Oxford Road.

This type of experience will alternate with our classic Women’s Circles each month.

Why am I hosting these?

Connecting directly with nature has many mental, physical, and spiritual health benefits. From breathing in immune boosting tree constituents, to lowering blood pressure, to decreasing ruminating thoughts, for bringing a sense of calm, relaxation, and wonder, easing depression, and feeling connected to something larger - the implications are really endless.

Nature spirituality and connection are at the center of many spiritual and witchy paths including my own. These events will vary in structure but all center around rebuilding our relationship with nature and the more than human world which ultimately supports not only our own healing but also that of this planet. It helps us remember we are part of nature not separate or above it. When we come to know nature, see our own patterns in nature, and receive healing from nature- we are more likely to protect our lands and make more environmentally friendly decisions.

My intention for Aug 15th gathering

During our women’s circles we call in the 4 directions. For many, this is something new and we don’t really have the opportunity to explore this during circle.

So for our first nature gathering we are going to connect to each of the 4 elements which each correspond to a direction. By learning about these associations, you can begin to work with these elements and the power of calling them in before circle will be much more salient.

This experience will include discussion, quiet individual nature connection time, journaling, and breath. There may be some walking but it won’t be over long expanses. This is a smaller city park with the idea being- we can connect to nature right outside our door. We also may make impermanent nature mandalas which is a way to bring creativity into the experience and see nature in a new way.

I will bring a cooling tea to share!
